Following this 4 - point process you will create a single Iris bloom on a sheet of 22x30” arches 140 lb. cold press paper:
- Trace the design from the pattern sheet provided
- Using a ‘spirit card’ (use one of mine or bring your own deck) apply colour using the wet on wet technique to create the underpainting
- Deepen the negative space colour
- Define the petal edges
Bring a board to support your work, a natural sponge, your regular painting gear, spirit cards if you have them and your lunch.
