Materials:

Paint : a tube each of yellow, blue, red and white
2, 16x20” regular canvases ( not gallery style)
1 - 1” long handled, soft bristle, flat brush
Paper palette (sheets of paper)
Sketchbook and pencil ( not a lined notebook)
Paper towels and a plastic bag for your garbage
Palette knife for mixing colour
An apron

This 3 session course is meant as an introduction to acrylic landscape painting for the absolute beginner. Week one is colour mixing, week two concentrates on painting a sky and week 3 we work on mixing greens. The materials list is kept to a bare minimum of supplies. You can add more colours, better canvases and various brushes later. Join us to see if acrylics are the right medium for you.
