Materials:

  • A variety of plastic stencils (approx 5 )
  • A piece of 20x26” Yupo paper
  • A spray bottle and sponge, notebook and apron
  • Your regular painting gear ( paints and brushes)
Please note:
  • You need to choose one time slot on Saturday and one on Sunday.
This watercolour on yupo workshop requires 2 half day sessions to allow for drying time. After watching the demonstration, start applying colour and your stencils. Then watch a second demo to better understand the process you will use on Sunday. You will leave your work at the studio.
When you return next day you will remove your stencils and watch a third demo concentrating on the intricacies of working on Yupo paper. The exciting thing about this workshop is that no two pieces are ever  alike!!!

  • 1 Sheet 140 lb cold press, Arches paper (22" x 30")
  • 10 Tubes of watercolour (student grade, 8ml, Winsor & Newton, Cotman)

    • Ultramarine Blue
    • Alizarin Crimson
    • Cadmium Red
    • Burnt Sienna
    • Paynes Gray
    • Hookers Green
    • Sap Green
  • Covered palette
  • 1 brush - (a #10 round)
  • Corrugated plastic board (20" x 24")

  • Selectum white eraser
  • Permanent marker (Sharpie, extra fine)
  • HB pencil
