Architextural Details

We apply acrylic medium with a variety of papers - printed, handmade and ephemera to create dynamic backdrops for our various buildings. If drawing using perspective is a concern, please don’t let that stop you from enrolling - there’s lots of ways to include structures in your ‘Architextural ’ watercolour!

Materials list:

Bring your regular watercolour gear plus :

• matt gel medium
• 140lb or 300lb Arches watercolour paper
• photos of a variety of buildings NOT on your phone or iPad
• handmade papers - Printed papers such as music, Clothing patterns, maps
• a collection of ephemera
• a board to work on
