Grab a coffee and watch a step by step overview of Marion’s recent “painted over” canvases, followed by a demonstration. At this point you will study your own canvas, making design decisions considering what is already there. The intent of this workshop is to show you how to make use of the colour already on your painting.

       Hopefully, you will never  gesso over a piece again!

 After lunch, painting time will be followed by a group critique enabling you to continue your work in your own studio.

Materials List:

•  Bring one or 2 of your pieces that you feel just haven’t “worked” and the photo sources you  worked from - printed,  not on your  iPad or phone.
• Be sure to bring the paint colours that you used to create the colour currently on your canvas
• Bring your brushes,  a pad of palette paper, your sketchbook, pencil and indoor shoes or slippers and your lunch.
• Easels provided, class limited to 5.
